In the world we live in, we are constantly reminded of time. First it was the Sun, then clocks, watches. Now it's cellphones, tablets, computers, tvs... Amazingly, there are lots of ways to learn the time, even from the washing machine...

“ Years ago I realised that I only wear my watches as an accessory and I never look at them because we are always surrounded by things that tell us the time. But I always loved wearing a watch to complete my look that day. That gave me the idea to make a customisable accessory that looked like a watch but wasn't. I always wished I could change the colors of watch parts. That pushed me to find a new way to join two important parts of a watch, the case and the strap. I also wanted this accessory to be a set of cases and straps that anyone in that house can use. This meant different sizes of wrists, so I also had to find a way to make the strap one-size-for-all. While doing that, I had an idea to hide the strap inside the case. If I could do that, I could also solve the problem of pieces on the strap poking your wrists, causing pain.

There were lots and lots of ideas, prototypes over the past year. But at last, we made a product we're proud of. Timeless Series has two slim cases with hidden magnets and a strap that is attached inside these cases. Every part of Timeless Series can be customized. You can change the whole case, just half of the case, the strap and the length of the strap. With 5 holes on each cases, Timeless Series fits on wrists from 13cm to 21cm (5.1” to 8.2”). The straps have quick-change bars on both ends, you can easily adjust the strap length by changing the hole the bars are in without any tools, just your fingers. We wanted to make the whole changing process tool-free so the bottom and top of the cases are connected to each other with hidden neodymium magnets. “

This is not a watch, it’s a bracelet in the form of a watch.

Yaşadığımız dünya içinde zaman bize sürekli hatırlatılır. Önce güneş tarafından, sonra duvar saatleri, kol saatleri. Şimdi cep telefonları, tabletler, bilgisayarlar, televizyonlar... Şaşırtıcı bir şekilde zamanı öğrenmenin bir çok yolu vardır, çamaşır makinasından bile...

“ Yıllar önce saatlerimi sadece aksesuar olarak taktığımı ve onlara bakmadığımı, çünkü sürekli bize saati söyleyen şeylerle çevrili olduğumuzu fark ettim. Fakat saat takmayı günlük kombinimi tamamlaması açısından hep çok sevdim. Bu da bana saat gibi görünen ama saat olmayan özelleştirilebilir bir aksesuar yapma fikrini verdi. Saatin parçalarının rengini değiştirebilmeyi hep istedim. Bu da beni saatin iki önemli parçası olan göbek ve kayışı bağlamanın farklı bir yolunu aramaya zorladı. Ayrıca bu aksesuarın göbek ve kayışlardan oluşan, evdeki herkesin kullanabileceği bir set olmasını istedim. Bu da farklı bilek ölçüleri demekti, o yüzden kayışı tüm ölçülere uyacak tek bir parça olarak yapmalıydım. Bunu çözerken kayışı göbeğin içinde saklama fikri aklıma geldi. Bunu yapabilirsem aynı zamanda kayışı ayarlama parçalarının bileğimizin altını acıtması sorununu da çözecektim.

Yıllar boyunca çok çok fazla fikirler, prototipler oldu. En sonunda gurur duyduğumuz bir ürün ortaya çıkardık. Timeless Series gizli mıknatıslı iki ince göbek ve göbeklerin içinde bağlanan kayıştan oluşuyor. Timeless Series’in her parçası özelleştirilebilir. Tüm göbekleri, sadece bir göbeği, kayışı ve kayışın uzunluğunu değiştirebilirsiniz. Göbeklerin içindeki 5 adet delikle Timeless Series 13cm ile 21cm arasındaki tüm bileklere uygundur. Kayışların ucundaki hızlı değiştirme pimleri ile hiçbir alete gerek kalmadan, sadece parmaklarınızla kayış boyunu ayarlayabilirsiniz. Tüm parçaların değiştirme sürecinin alete gerek kalmadan yapılabilmesini istedik, bu yüzden göbekler birbirine gizli neodymium mıknatıslar ile bağlanmaktadır. ” Bu bir saat değil, saat şeklinde bir bilekliktir.
